I just purchesed a 97 GTX with 88 hours for a killer deal knowing it had this problem. Water comes in around the driveshaft between the carbon ring and the ring retainer. Is the carbon ring suspose to ride on the shaft or float around it? What do I need to do to fix this? I am pretty good at turning a wrench but this is my first ski. Please help!!
