97 GTS tach wiring diagram

When I bought my brand new 1997 GTS, I had the dealer install an optional Seadoo tach. Now there are wires under the front storage box that are not shown on the wiring diagram. It looks like some sort of small box containing a fuse has been added along with wires to connect the tach. I have done enough trouble shooting to learn that the tach trigger wire is not connected to the MPEM ( as is done on other models that have the tach standard) but rather to the wiring from the coil behind the flywheel which triggers the spark.
Any comments or a wiring diagram most appreciated.

You are right that it does not connect to MPEM. Yours & HX are same MPEM, but neither
have a tach, thats why its not shown on your ski's wire diagram. A GTX has a tach,
I suggest you get that diagram and compare power, signal & ground connections. Hope this helps.
