History: My 97 GSX will not pump fuel...It is a great runner, but a few weeks ago started losing top-end....brought it home, googled the "97GSX" said grey lines are a problem, I had grey lines....replace lines, removed the carbs, and put in new (small) filters and the pump diaphrams, and the main filter out of tank.....cranked and cranked, no fuel, if if primed the carbs directly by squirting in (no air cleaner yet) it will fire right up....so I removed fuel line at carb and put a small amount of pressure in tank, forcing fuel through line and filter bowl, I replaced line, but still no luck. I then re-removed the line from carb and put a gravity feed temporarly to it, ran just fine. I removed that and reinstalled, but it will not pump......I now have the carbs back off and I have carefully inspected them I can see nothing wrong (I took care to make sure the new clear little circle diaphrams were installed with convex side up as instructions called...blue mark on top side) I double checked the pulse line and can see no cracks or damage....I am now at the point of re-installing, but I have not changed anything...SO any body have any suggestions before I take my carbs off of the living room table and put them back on the engine..................Thank you for any help, James
