Were the carbs good? What about the head? I just bought a 97 GSX today that needs the top end redone and carbs.

The bottom end cracked the cases. The top end I believe is good. I have a good 787 head aside from this motor too.

Carbs are good. Just recommend a carb clean or rebuild.
