Hi all, I have just purchased a 1997 Challenger 1800 yesterday, The left throttle handle does not stay in place, you have to keep your hand on it or it will fall back in the "idle" position, any ideas will be greatly appreciated, also any suggestions on purchasing a new battery?

Easy fix. Just did mine today.
Take off handle knobs - three screws.
Remove cover plate - four screws
Remove shifter/throttle assembly - four allen head scews.
Tighten phillips head screw in the center of the right hand side. hard to describe which one it is, but if you look at the right side, and move the port/left throttle you will see the head rotate with the handle movement.
Tighten until it matches the right throttle.
Reassemble.

I bought the CD manual off of e-bay and it is very good, highly recommended!
