96 xp Porpoises?

Got the 96 XP running all new to me, but when going fast I notice it starts to porpoise.
My VTS gouge is not working but the VTS moves with the button.
Also right now the intake grate is off because I am waiting on snail mail to bring it to me.
Any advise?
This ski is a beast.

Slowly trim down until porpoising stops. That will usually be just above center of trim movement and is where I have found it performs best. At least on the 97 XP.

If you have all the weight fully rearward, it may propose some too.
