Hi all, I have a 96 xp that recently stopped revving past ~3000 rpm. It sounds like it starts misfiring when it reaches 3000 rpm. I believe it is an ignition issue as I have had a similar issue with another ski and it turned out to be the rectifier in that case. However, I replaced the rectifier with no luck. I saw another post with a similar problem that was cause by a weak connection at the coil. When I checked the coil I found that it has a resistance of .7 ohms while the manual says it should be .34-.62 ohms, would this difference cause my issue? Or any other things I should check?
