Hey guys, so pulled my exhaust off today to replace the gasket at the manifold and I found a pool of water in the exhaust, that's not supposed to be there is it?? The picture is taken upside down but you can see the water level in there. It's not a bit of water, it's full

No picture but yes, these are a wet exhaust so there is water in them. This is why you never run the hose with the engine off and why it is a good idea to rev it up on the ramp when you pull it out of the water to blow it out.

Right, I just read up on the exhaust system in the manual. Good tip on revving it up when taking it out to blow all the water out. Thanks

Got another question for you. My
96xp needs to be topped up with oil. It was running Lucas but I want to use brp. I've heard you need to clean out the system of the old oil before put in a different brand of oil. Somehow mixing them is bad? Any truth to this. My doo needs 3L for top up. Can I just put the new oil?

No, you can't mix different brands as the different formulations can gel in the filter and starve the engine. Drain the tank, blow out the rotary lines, install a new filter and bleed the pump.
