96 XP has bad miss when accelerating

You say it runs good for 2 min. What does it do after the 2 min? Run bad or shut off?

I turn it off after two min, did not want to have the battery die, being the battery is not charging, i figure the motor works good with out the rectifier it must have somthing to do with that area, the local guy here said it has to be the stator, he said he would replace it for 300 cash, he has done some work on this seadoo in the past before I decided I needed to be able to do the work on these, I am just tring to decided if I should have him do it or would I save and learn more if I do it.

i had the same issue after replacing my rectifier. I had to re adjust the carbs to stock adjustments to clear it up. I dont know how or why but it worked.

the carb is set to stock, this XP is stock except for intake and ride plate.
