96 XP Carb Question

I picked up a 96 XP recently. Good compression runs pretty good. What I want to know is the factory setting for the low speed screw. Don't have a manual yet and it has what seems like a rich issue just off idle. Seems like it needs to clear out then its good to go.

Ball park 1-1/4. Could be leaking needles in the carb.

Thanks! Yea ill probably be rebuilding so I know its fresh. For now I want to see where its set. I suspect previous owner richened it for test ride, when I bought it was about 50 degrees

Make sure to only purchase genuine mikuni carb kits

Thanks for the heads up. I'll only ever use OEM rebuild parts no matter what I'm working on.
