First time out yesterday. I rode the ski. (What a blast) I don't know if it had water in it at that time. I towed it about 5 miles at approx 5 mph. This morning I had a good amount of water int he hull. I tried riding it, it ran fine, but it did NOT empty the water.

I'm pretty sure this model has the siphon style pumps. Perhaps mine is not working.

Right now I'm trying to figure out:
1. Did the water come from being towed, even though I was going slow?
2. Is the water there from a hose of exhaust?
3. Did the water appear from the ski sitting in the water all night?

Gues what I'm asking is what do i need to do to tow this ski? Do you guys have a specific auto bilge pump you like? Link? What other things should I check?
If you mount a bilge pump do you use an auto pump or a switch? Where do you drill the exit hole?

Any help appreciated.

Your ski has enertia syphon system. there should be a floor suction box on each side of the drive. In the jetpump venturi at top are the veins that lead from the venturi
thru the impeller houseing that has two long thru-hull nipples. Tube lines connect there and are routed upward to a 90* elbow that is zip-tied high under rear seat consol, then tubes go down to the floor sucker boxes. If the zip-tie breaks, the line can fall low enough that water can reverse, come into the hull. In the Venturi, two
siphon plastic tubes are pressed into the two veins (pt #271001133) and protrude
1" into the thrust water. This outgoing water pulls any water out from the hull floor. These two plastic tubes can break or fall out, and then the siphonage fails.

ANYTIME a Seadoo is to be towed, Pincher off the jetpump supply water line to the
engine. Towing over 3 MPH can produce enough water pressure to flood the estopped engine. Just like haveing the Garden hose ON and the engine not running.

Racers and playful drivers alike who often flip their ski opt to a switched or automatic
bilge pump to quickly empty water from the engine compartment. Bills86e
