A lot of folks look to SBT, and some dig in themselves to save a little and learn a lot - have you tried to add oil in the spark plug holes and turn around to loosen rust from neglected winterizing? The fuel system clogging from steel gas can trash or the lines themselves dissolving has caused much trouble for the whole seadoo 2stroke family, this is another area where hands on maintenance saves a lot of silly troubles that end up costing large bux and if forgotten end up in burnt pistons, you need to know what caused the "frozen" engine and proceed to repair after inspecting sliding and rotating parts.

hello thank you for the message and info i will try that when i get the boat back.i dropped it off to get look at well here are some things i know i need a starter on that port side and they said they used a wrench to the coupling(i believe)and it didnt turn.DOES that mean your engine is done??I know the spark plugs did have some rust on them..

How well did it run last season? what was the compression during the last 2-3 tests, some guys write it out on the air cover, look for 120-140 something like that - the not turning could be the hull bearing or something gone wrong in the pump, you have to isolate what is stuck to know how to proceed.

well i forgot to mention it hasnt run the last 3 years and when it did i couldnt tell you how the compression was..and i winterzied it before it sat..ihave two waverunners i been using since now i wanted to get this thing running again.and believe me i dont want to start spending these crazy $$$ on this thing..i will look into on the things you mention.

Are you sure it's the engine or the jet pump that might be froze up? Did you seperate them to find out ?

hi well i havent gotten the boat back yet.i dropped it off at a service center where i bring my waverunners..im going to get the boat back and have my friend look into the things listed above..i def know i needed a starte so your telling me a jet pump could be causing the engine not turning?
