96 Sea Doo GTX should I buy?

I am in the process in buy ing a 96 Sea Doo GTX. What is the going price, and what should I look for when purchasing the sea doo?

I also run a rental business in Tennessee, I am hoping this will pull a pontoon boat with easy, any thoughts about this?

The only 2 I see on Ebay right now are between $1100 and $1500. I wouldn't pay more than $1500 at any rate. Questions about these older 2-stroke machines would be better asked in the 2-stroke forum however.

Do you mean in case the pontoon boat breaks down, or as a regular occurrence?
