I have a 96 GTX that is draining the battery whenever I try to start it. I put the key on, get 2 beeps and then it will either start connected to a water hose out of the water or it will act like it isn't getting enough spark to get anything going. I have checked all of the connections and fuses and everything is good. I also tested the rectifier about 2 weeks ago and was getting about 13.5v while running it at 5500 rpms. I am thinking that I am going to need to dig into the stator assembly but I want to make sure this is the direction I need to be going before I dig into that. I also just got the battery tested yesterday at the auto parts store and it battery is good with 240 cold cranking amps and I charged the battery before I put it back in the ski this morning. Thanks in advance everyone.

Just checked the compression in both cylinders. The front cylinder was showing about 135 and the rear cylinder was less than 30. Time for a rebuild I guess. Where should I start? I've been looking around and I see top-end rebuilt kits on watercraftsuperstore.com and maybe that's where I should go? HELP!!
