My 786 just siezed up . I recently put in some Sea doo ethanol additive , I was wondering if this is to be used on 2 stroke and if it would have any effect on the lubricating properties of the oil being mixed with the gas ? It was smoking so I know it was getting oil but I remember alwayr being told not to use dri sorb for 2 stroke outboards cause it would wash the oil off the cylinder walls . I have been told the main bearings siezed up and have a new motor on order from SBT. Dont want to have this happen again . Does the seadoo additive have alcohol in it . The motor was 13 yrs old and it might have been its time ? Thanks

Most additives won't harm your engine. To be sure, read the bottle or visit the companies web site for specifics.
