Well I have the book but it doesn't tell you how to do it exactly and no really good pictures. I want to do it right and be safe. This inlet fitting on the back of the ski near the pump outlet...
1. The book shows this as the inlet so is this where the cooling water enters the ski ?

2. Do I just connect the water hose to this connection to flush the ski ?

3. Do I need to pinch off any lines when flushing?

Note, there is a flow regulator valve on this ski which looks sort of like a RAVE valve.

Hope there is enough detail in the pictures. Help is always appreciated.

Connect hose to the tube sticking out of the pump plate. It has hose screw threads in it so you don't need that goofy adapter they put into the coolling line in the eng compartment. The IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER

Start the engine
Turn on the water
Turn off the water
Stop the engine

Don't run it too long or th carbon seal on the driveshaft will overheat. If you need to run it longer, take the PTO guard off and occasionally spray water on the carbon seal to keep it cool

DO NOT run the water without the engine running.

Actually that fitting is where water normally exits. When you flush, you run the water through the engine the opposite way. You do not have to pinch anything off when using the fitting on the pump plate to flush, only when you use the other adapter (my ski , which is same as yours, has the adapler too, I don't know why you really don't need it).
