I have a 96 GTS. I have gone through the fuel system. Cleaned the filters including the carb. Checked/cleaned the fuel selector. The engine starts great. Idles and in the water will excellerate to WOT. As soon a the engine reaches temp it dies. Dies like stop button has been pushed. It will start right back up before the boat even comes to rest. I have eliminated the lanyard by straight wiring in the box. I have swapped the coil from my other Seadoo. Yes I still have the grey hoses. I will swap them soon. Some tell me it is unlikely the MPEM or Stator or the boat would not run like it does. Thoughts? Once the boat is warmed up it will dies when the throttle is pressed. It will still idle just fine back to the trailer.

I have ordered a carb kit and new fuel hoses. Is this the issue or am I chasing my tail again.

Thank you,
John

The gray fuel lines are still giving off crap from the inside. Re-check your carb pop off pressure and the adjustments also.

I always find it worthwhile to carefully validate the fuel lines and where they are connected. I have seen many that were incorrectly connected to the fuel tank sender unit with all sorts of strange results. If you look carefully the hoses' locations are identified on the sender unit but it is easy to miss the writing and mis connect a hose.

God luck Dave
