My 96 gts sat for 2 weeks I believe, and when I went to fire it up it wasn’t wanting to start. Pulled the plugs they were soaked and luckily had a spare here at the cabin. One new plug and I eventually got it to run but on full throttle it barely ran and pitched clouds and clouds of smoke till it cleared everything out. Now even warm it takes a little cranking and full throttle to start and it has zero throttle response and will die if not wide open for anywhere from 5 seconds to up to 20 seconds before it gets going. Also smokes a little more than usual. But after it gets going it runs perfect. Am I looking at an oil injection pump problem? Something else? If it is I’m just going to bypass it and run premix. Any help is appreciated just trying to figure out what exactly is wrong. Thanks!

96 gts engine flooded when sitting

The carb is freshly rebuilt with oem carb kit i don’t know if that makes a difference. What’s the best way to make this determination? I guess how would I check to see if it’s a leaky carb so I can eliminate that?
Ok so this morning after it sat overnight it fired right up with absolutely no issues. Then after 10 minutes out on the water I parked it and 5 minutes later it did the same.. hard to start, a lot of smoke, and no throttle response for a little bit while running rough. Does this help in determining? My uncle who’s a auto tech said that may indicate more so a crank seal problem but he doesn’t know jetskis.
