96 challenger ping sound then only idle

Hi everybody,
Hope you can steer me to fixing this problem myself. I
just got the boat back from service after $450.00. Took
it for a spin and at full throttle, I heard this ping sound,
the motor ran at high rpm but no movement. I could
only motor at idle speed. I know you have some ideas
on this, please advise.

Sounds like the pump is cavitating, you need to have the wear ring/impeller clearance checked, and it may need a new hull/pump seal.
