How much weight can rear grab handle hold (if ur pulling youself out of water)

can you attach a rope ladder to this to assist getting out of the water???

I'm 240 Lbs, and I never broke mine. But... I don't know if I would tie a ladder to it. I have a spring loaded step on my big Polaris, and makes getting back on easy.
