951 XP Limited oil pump delete cable tension

Hi there. I've recently deleted the oil pump on my 951 to go to premix, and have put in a blank plate. I'm having issues with the oil cable tension which is causing the throttle to be sticky. How do I resolve this? I'm also getting the low oil warning due to empty tank.

Why did you convert to premix? Easiest solution would be to revert back to oil injection.

Doesn’t matter, go back to oil injection and premix 50:1 your race engine will live a happy life and your throttle position sensor will be happy too.

I'm good thanks. Been racing 951s for over a decade premixed and never had an issue. Resolved the issue with a spring

Sorry re-read your message. I'd love to go back to the old oil injection and premix, but unfortunately the ski came in bits to me and previous owner had already attempted the oil pump delete. I've found over here in NZ, 951 parts (other than pistons) are as rare as hens' teeth! Some secondhand parts, but no guarantee that they will work.
