So I'm having issues with mid range throttle. It bogs when trying to cone out of a sharp corner or if taking off from a lower speed. Usually happens around 5500ish rpm. So I'm taking my raves off to clean them and they felt to move freely in the engine but this is what they looks like. While yes I know they need to be cleaned my question even though they moved freely could they the issue?

possible but see if your acc pump on the carbs is squirting in both carbs and is a strong stream!

They're little brass nozzles that stick into your carbs near the choke butterfly. Stick in about a half inch or so, hard to miss. When you press the throttle, they shoot a nice stream of fuel into the engine.

You should be able to hear the stream when you press the throttle with the engine off.

They will stop, it just gives the ski a nice shot of adrenaline to get her up when you press the throttle.

I dont see what your describing but I can hear it very well. Is what I'm looking for in this picture?

The elbow is the pressure valve. When you push the throttle, it jets gas straight back into the carb/engine to give a nice boost.

Don't take the elbow off like I did, sometimes they don't fit back on well.

Okay thank you I will give that a look in a few. Do you happen to know what the check valve line goes to on the left side of the ski. Under the rub rail near mpem?

Is it a clear line? That is an old battery vent line. Useless these days. tug on it from the front, it should have no connection on the opposing end.

This is a black line looks to have been replaced. But I pulled on it slightly and the other end came with it. So hopefully that's it

Should be. Sometimes they get discolored very bad. Mine was a nasty brown color, but could tell it once was clear. Shouldn't be fuel line, though.

Either way, that is the battery vent.
