951 premix modification

just bought a 98 gtx limited that has been converted to premix but the oil light is flashing all the time due to there being no oil in the redundant tank is there any way to make it go out ?

I'm sure there is, but I just let mine flash. It don't hurt anything and I'm scared if I mess it up then maybe the other Tuff won't work like battery or overheating light.

Oh oh... is there still an oil feed going to the other engine parts that get their lubrication from the oil tank as well as premix to the carbs?

Look for some 1/8" size lines/nipples on the lower part of the engine and the rave vales I think to see that they are still getting oil.

Just connect the two wires that go to the sensor that was in the oil tank

been told by the guy who rebuilt engine the 951 has a sump with oil in it so no need for that

That's correct I u want the oil light to go out just connect the wires together that went to oil sensor an the light will go out
