I have searched quite extensively but cannot find another account of this issue.
I have 3 951 GTX's and have an issue in one that I cannot make sense of. (Point being I can swap parts around if necessary)
Recent maintenacne to the oil injection system includes:
-New feed lines
-New oil filter
-New lines from oil pump to cylinders.
The oil reservoir does leak, but I believe the leaking is at the molded seam. As a result the resevoir still holds a significant amount of oil. I plan to repair the tank or rob one from one of the other 951's I have.
The oil line to the pump is full of oil and clear of any air. The problem is that only one of the feed lines to the cylinder fills with oil. The second line has some oil, but not much. At initial run in of the new lines (premix in tank), there was a small amount of water fed into the problem oil line. I do not know where the water came from (3-4 drops worth). I used about 11 gallons of gas (premixed) last weekend on the lake, so there has been plenty of time for both oil lines to fill.
I suspect there may be an issue with the injection nozzle at the cylinder. I cannot imagine there is a problem with the pump if it is able to pump fine on one line.
Thoughts? Has anyone else encountered this?
