951 Carb Crankcase hole

Any thoughts? I dont know anyone I trust to fix this. Should I buy a used crankcase?

Amen! Big oops! I look at this and wonder if the rider was DEAF! How can you keep running an engine that is making noise that can be heard in another zip code?

Looks kind of like mine did! Mine made a clunk, turned the ski off, turned it back on and ran it like this for about 3 or 4 more hours. Had no idea! This is the counter-balance shaft. Snapped in half, sent the needle bearing through the case. Total carnage!

Good used cases are easy to come by, don’t waste time trying to fix that mess.
