95 xp vts guage stuck up

Hello everyone...Iam new to pwc owning and got a great deal on a 95 seadoo xp.Vts guage was shot on dash,salt and corrosion inside guage.All other guages work fine.Got a used guage from ebay in excellent condition and replaced it.Now the vts gauge display needle moves all the way to the top (even though the jet nozzle is not up) and the vts is not working.The vts motor in the box looks clean and in perfect condition.The vts did not work before with the shot guage but the needle did not move at all. Any ideas?:bigear:

Check the fuses, but the VTS controller is probably bad.

Thank you for your response Dr Honda...is the fuse in the same box as the mpem,ignitor coil?If the vts controller is bad how woul you fix that other than replacing the vts housing complete. Have any of you guys tried "THE TRIM FIX" from ebay?Also the engine is hard to start, have to hold the throttle wide open to get it to fire but once it fires its good...125 psi compression on both cylinders..I want it to start with one push of the button.:nopity:
