First let me say HI, as I am new to the forum. I've replaced fuel lines, filters, cleaned out tank. After taking it out for the first time, the thing would start and run but no power. I pulled the carbs, cleaned and noticed the diaphragm had a few pinholes. So instead of replacing the diaphragm I siliconed the thing and reinstalled. Took it (jet ski) back out and it ran nicely for about 1 hr and half. Same issue started again so I went and bought a rebuild kit and now the damn thing doesn't want to start. I made sure to properly rebuild the carbs so I don't know what's wrong. Please HELP! Thanks! :willy_nilly:

...Also noticed the high speed screws were backed off more than my '94 carbs. So what exactly is correct for these screws because the CLYMER manual doesn't really specify other than to reinstall as it was removed. Thanks again!!

the "kit" you purchased, was it a mikuni or some b.s. company. Need factory oem mikuni rebuild kit.

alright, did you replace the spring, insidethe carb/s, with the ones supplied in the kit?

Fuel lines are correct but as far as the pop off test.....That's a definite NO! I guess I'll need to buy the tools for that and read up on how to do the test.

THATS the problem. It may be same "length", but defintely, not the same "gram".

Remove the carbs, and install the original ones (springs), make sure the "tang", is level with the inner plate of carb, and re-install carbs.

94xp has a lower pop-off setting/window, for the carbs to work.

You can do what you want, but from experience, i'd switch back the springs.
