95 xp: not getting fuel

i got a 95 xp.. cranks fine and will turn over on ether. cracked a fuel line and no fuel at all.. the ski is not getting any fuel.. any ideas??

Do you get fuel if you turn the fuel selector valve to reserve?

Do you still have the grey fuel lines?

new black fuel lines were put in last year..nothing with reserve either

Put some gas in the tank!!:biggrinjester: make sure the vent tube is not clogged and try cleaning out the fuel selector

also may want to try cleaning out the internal filters in the carbs.

Check your fuel pump on the carb, make sure the line going to the crank for the pulse is in good shape.

about a half of tank of fuel is in the ski.. what line goes to the fuel pump?

The inlet, MAG side, is from the fuel selector. There is another line on the other PTO end which goes down to the crank, called a pulse line.

Also a return line near the pulse line which goes back to tank.

Starting at the tank: pickup is thru baffle which has a screen in it which also holds fuel float in...clean out tank and check that baffle screen is clean and attached. Then the fuel goes to a fuel switch for ON/RES. Make sure it is clean and allows fuel thru both ports. Then to filter which has a filter, unscrew it and pull filter down, dump it out and clean with air, best to replace if it is broken. Then into carb fuel pump powered by pulse line and internal filters. Something in these must be blocking fuel from carb. Good luck.
