95 xp high rev and no power

hey guys kinda stumped here. had my 95 xp out today ran great for about a hour or so. but then it started to act up, when you get into the top end of the power, it seems that the rpms spike but the power falls flat on its face. low speed is still fine just no big get up and go. mods are tdr water box and a r&d flame arrestor. any help here would be great. thanks scott.

Does it feel like if you were in a car the clutch is slipping, then your ski is cavatating. You can check the clearance between the impeller and the wear ring, should be no more than .040"

From what you are saying it sounds like the wear ring need replacing, and you should go ahead and replace the carbon seal as well.

ya, it dose actually feel very similar to that. Thank you very much ill give the wear ring and seal a try. Much appreciated
