I've got a 95 xp with the 720 engine and it's not starting
I replaced the starter last week because it burnt out on me and the ski fired up all good.
I took it out and ran it for 20 mins, came home and flushed it then put it it away with the battery disconnected. 4 days later took it out, hooked up battery and tried to start.
I got 1 turn out of it then it died, sounded like a fuse had blown.
I've since checked fuses and they are all good
Earth strap replaced with the starter
Start/stop switch checked
Kill switch checked ( pre dess)
New solenoid put in
Any help would be appreciated guys, I've been checking things all day and can't get it started.
Anything I've missed?
Anything else to check?
No power to gauges either but they could be bad anyways
Thanks
Steve

Sounds like it could be a weak battery. Check the voltage, charge it or replace it and see if that changes anything. Also, did you replace the starter with an aftermarket? or a good OEM?

Battery is all good. I have a load tester.
Starter was an sbt starter but that will still turn over if I bridge the solenoid
I'm gonna start checking wires

Well 2 days later, $100 in parts, 1 ten mm socket and roughly 20 hours of you tube
She's alive...............
Deutsche plug at mag was dodgy
Male/female connector, dodgy
Earth on starter dodgy
All good now and running

Awesome, nothing more satisfying than solving a mystery. Btw, 10mm...
