95 vs 96 Seadoo XP

I can buy either. Found both a 95 XP and a 96 XP. What's the major difference if any between the years does anyone know? Which one should I buy, I assume the 96 just because its a newer model although they look alike

The 95XP unless it's a 95XP 800, has a 717 motor (85HP); while the 96XP has a 787 motor (110HP). So 25 more HP in the 96, both have the X4 hull.

I have owned both and had a ball with them. The '96 is definitely the faster ski with the additional horse power, but the '95 was still a quick fun machine. As far as maintenance, the '95 seemed to be a little easier to take care of in my opinion. Heck, buy both of them.
