95 Spx starter runs continuously

After a full weekend of flawless use, I tied her off at the dock and backed in the trailer, got on untied and pushed off to ride onto the trailer, and the next thing I know, I'm dead in the water with a starter running nonstop .

I checked the solenoid and it is open when no power is applied, as are both the start/stop and safety switches. I removed the starter cable from the solenoid and as soon as I put cables on the battery I can hear solenoid engage. Electrical box Has no evidence of any moisture..ever..

Since I have owned this ski it has never made any beep noises.

Any suggestions

did u solve this on your own??
if the solenoid seems to working correctly.. the start/stop switch could be getting moisture... or wires rubbing into something that is destriong the slewe over the vires

had a prob similar to yours once...
