95 SPX stalls at full throttle

I have a low hours 95 SPX that hasn't been in the water in 6 or 7 years. I decided to get a battery and get her back on the water, but am having a problem with it. It started fine and idles good, goes up through the rpm range smoothly, but when I pin the throttle it revs and then just dies. It doesn't spit and sputter, it's almost like I pulled the lanyard off the kill switch. As soon as it quits, I can restart it with no problem, it just doesn't like full throttle.

Any ideas where I should start troubleshooting?

I replaced the grey fuel lines about 8 years ago, but can't remember if I replaced the little one that goes between the carbs. Could having the filter in the carbs partly clogged cause this issue?

I have missed riding and am sure that I'll have a ton more questions as I go. 😆

Probably some dirt/dreg in the carbs ( old dryed gas mixed with water).
But have You tried to pull Choke (if it is equipped with it) and ease throttle smoothly , fort and back when playing with choke, and see if it goes better on full or almost full throttle then?
That kind of issue I usually have the first time almost every season, especially if it have been stored for many seasons....

Do these jets have the electrical switch at throttle cable ( as the 951)
is there 2 leads( electrical wires) out fron throttle-cable wher it split to oilpump and carbs...?

IF, it can be that, you have to calibrate the cable ( even if it is correct between thumb and throttle valve)....
because on the 951 it gives a signal to MPEM after about 80 "throttle ( switching between 5 volt and 0 volt) to adjust ignition)
if this is wrong ( or do not happend) it dies/bogging at full throttle or near full throttle, symphtom exactly as it goes veeeeery lean and dies on top rpm.s

also check that the Rave.s is moving and hoses are good and the electrical connector at the small valve. i sok , not coroded.....
