So I bought my first boat a 95 sea doo speedster twin 657's. I hasnt been ran in awhile but I was told it was winterized by a dealer before it was stored. I went to take the carbs off today for a rebuild and they were full of oil. I took them off and still plan on doing a rebuild but there is alot of oil in the bottom half of both engines. How to I get that cleared out and what would have caused this? when I got the boat I did notice that the throtle levers were wide open. Would that cause the oil to keep flowing and fill the motors?

Whoever winterized did not pincher the RV oil cavity line. The elevated oil pushed on the center crankseals until they warped and the oil leaked by into the lower cases. All Doo's do that if they sit unused along time unpinchered, and usually be fine after running a couple miles.
Just plull the *plugs, put a rag over holes to stop "geyser" and crank over in - 15 sec crank, wait 1 minute, intervals so starter doesn't overheat, until oil stops shooting. After you'ver read the carb adjustments Sticky in the two stroke forum you will need a pop-off tester, OEM mikuni carb kits (2) and new needles, seats and base gaskets you will be able to clean & tune your carbs annually.

So I do not need to try to remove the oil? I did drain the oil tank becuase I do not know what kind of oil was used before, so that is empty right now, except for whats still in a few lines.

My boat did the same thing before I bought it. Like bill said Just plull the *plugs, put a rag over holes to stop "geyser" and crank over. Most of the oil will blow out of the plug holes, the rest will discharge into the exhaust. Do this 3-4 times, and clamp the big oil hose to the crank case off. Get the engines running (one at a time so there is less going on) and attempt to unclamp the big hose on the running engine. If the engine bogs down, clamp it back off and let it run 5 more minutes, attempt it again, rinse repeat until it stops eating oil. This worked for me, your results may vary. The other option is a crank rebuild or replacement.

Your engines being non-rave engines, you can use BRP Mineral Oil. If you had a 787 or 951 = Synthetic oil.

I thank you guys for all the help. I plan on useing amsoil interceptor. MY last ? is, since this has happend and bills you said it warped something. Is this going to happen everytime I let it sit now? And also what line are you talking about pinching off, the one with the oil filter in it?

sure sounds great Ill take that picture. So when I plan on letting the boat sit for say 6 months during winterization just pinch off that one line than? and also wich lines do I need to pinch when towing in water? I really like how you just gave me the number like that, I could look right at it and see rather than trying to explain it, lol.
