First, I just wanted to say Thank You again for all you guys' help on my other issues.
My problem is, the ski has always bounced like crazy, especially at higher speeds. Even when the lake is as smooth as glass. I saw one thread on here where someone suggested trim tabs. But I had my son look and there are no holes to install anyting. What do I do, and is this the best fix for this problem?

there will not be any holes there you need to install them yourself./ does the ski only bounce real bad if you sit far back from thew front if so try to shift your weight to the front and see if that makes it go away. But trims are your best option

no, it doesn't make a difference to sit further forward , or even when standing up and leaning forward. So, how do you install the tabs? :)

If you have never done it i would not recommend trying it youself you are better off taking it to a dealership and having them do it for you it could mean the difference between sink and float.

Oh, hubby could do it as long as I explain it to him.

Probubly could but they are very hard to install you have to get them just perfect or it will be in worse shape than when you started. If they arent positioned right and installed correctly they wont work theyll make your ride terrible. Installation dosent take that long so a dealer wont charge too much. Its just alot of measuring specs and drilling and installation with silicone

WHAT !!!!!!! THAT'S THE WRONG ANSWER ON THIS BOARD !!!!!!!

The only time we tell people to go to a dealer, is if they need codes read out of the computer... OR... if they don't know what end of the screwdriver to use. Besides... the dealer is goign to charge you at least an hour labor ($120)... and a $30 "Shop materials" fee.... and the Moron who is turning the wench, and drill the holes in your hull, probably can't even wipe his own a$$ !!! (I hate most mechanics)

It's not hard to install the tabs, and I have the instructions for them. If you give me an email address... I'll send them to you. You can get used OEM tabs on ebay cheap... or cut your own out of 1/8" to 3/16" Aluminum plate.

Thank You Dr. Honda, I was hoping you would chime in with your opinion. You share my sentiments exactly on the "stealership"! They are the morons who after 3 different times and about $500, I got on this board and found the answers to my questions- and hubby did them all himself AND now everything enginewise is working PERFECTLY!!! I understand you were only trying to help brock1, but I know my husbands ability (although not experienced with PWC's, he is a master carpenter and has worked on cars/motorcycles/4 wheelers, etc. for as long as he could hold a wrench) I think it is my decision if I want to let him sink it or not. I'd rather do that than pay some idiot $500 to do nothing.
PM sent to you Dr. Honda. Thanks
