95 Seadoo spx problem

Hi all. I'm having some problems with my seadoo. I don't know if these problems are related 1.While starting out the engine will sometimes rev up and the drive will act like it's not engaged. If you play with the throttle it will pick up and go and everything seems fine. Almost seems like it's sucking air. 2. If it sits parked on the shore for and hour or so the engine compartment will start to fill with water. I looked for leaks and did not see any. 3. At idle I hear a rattling sound from engine compartment. This is my first jetski and any help would be appreciated.

First sign of a problem change spark plugs. BR8ES gap .021. Check the compression.
150lbs is good health. 99% of older DOO problems are fuel system related. Have you greased the Zerks? Take the grey drive cover off and see if you spun the hull snout
seal. There are two floor suckers each side of drive, If the line is laying there, it gets tied high up under the rear consol.
