Thanks to everybody and happy to be here, new on the forum and new on the Seadoo or any water thing of any kind. Bought a 95 seadoo gtx 657x. This is the situation I have no spark, so I bought an used stator from Ebay, did not work, ordered a coil, did not work, googled and read this forum and found that could be the stator so I ordered a brand new stator to see if that is the problem. I will keep you posted, new stator is coming wednesday or thursday, so lets see. I am a little disappoint with the situation with my new hobby, because my boys are visiting me for their vacation time and they did not ride either any water craft of any kind and they were dreaming to get in this one before they leave. Hope somebody can provide me any light on this.

We have the manual, but some of the name of parts we do not know where they are or how to identify it. Pictures or videos is the best way for us to start because is the first time working on it. We bought it with clunck sound, the owner told us that was working the day before and the problem was the solenoid. When we checked the engine, the stator and flywheel where destroyed inside, so we replaced with used ones from ebay, but after we have not spark, so googling found that can be the used stator or the kill switch, so we ordered a brand new stator from ebay again. Stator is coming tomorrow. I will keep posted to see what happen after tomorrow.

Hi, etemplet. Thanks for the replay. Are you referring to the stator that is going inside the flywheel? if not, Could you send me a picture of what and where it is, please? Remember that we new on the seadoo or watercraft of any kind, like I explained in my first post.

The trigger coil is the small one at the top... the stator as you know is the large round one. As you can see in the dirty picture I had a lot of corrosion which I cleaned up. My stator was bad but the ski started and ran but I had a"Spark" "no spark" issue that was mostly... no spark. LOL

Nice pictures, my stator is different, but I think that is the same problem do not matter what kind of stator. I am expecting the new stator tomorrow, so I will post what happen after we replace it. Thanks again, will keep in touch.
Yes, racerxxx. Thanks for answering. We check the flywheel and the number is different from the one that got damage, when we bought it. Could you or somebody tell me if that could be a problem the damage one is 032000-8024 and the used one that we bought from ebay is 032000-8000 and is painted inside by the magneto. We are stuck and do not know what else to check.

Could somebody, please tell me if this seadoo has a buzzer or no and if it has key to program or no? I tried to look everywhere and can not find a conclusive answer. In the electric schematic manual said it has a buzzer, I checked it and did no find it. Could somebody send me a picture of it, if it has it.

As long as you have a fully charged battery, you should have ample spark to start even with a bad rectifier. There is no amplifier that i remember. They do not have a super bright spark. Have you tried putting a little fuel in the carbs or cylinders and starting it? Don't blow yourself up.
We tried a little fuel on the carbs and the cylinders but not premix and it did tried to start for a second or two and then nothing. I am going to buy starting fluid to try but I am little concern about because I read in the forum that is not good idea, what do you think about it?

We check the fuses and found the 15A blown and replaced, nothing. I will disconnect the red wire before putting the starting fluid. We did put some gas on the carbs and engine and nothing but no premix, could that be a problem?

I took it to somebody that said he is working on seadoo for 8 years to see if could fired up, he rebuilt the carburetor and check for spark, compression was 125 in both cylinders. So everything looked OK, but did not start. He put fuel and starting fluid on the carburetor and in the cylinders and still did not fired up. We are thinking that could be the flywheel because the original one has a different number on it. Original(damaged) one is 032000-8420 and the one that I bought used from Ebay to replaced it is 032000-8000. What everybody thinks about it? I am desperate and do not know what to do, the guy want 120 dollars for what he did, but I took it to him to fire up the seadoo, my friend and me could do most of the things he was doing with some videos and help from the forum, we are working on it for few weeks. We took the engine out and replaced the flywheel and stator, coil and all kind of work, so question is: is that fair that he did no fired up and want to get pay 120 dollars. I just want to hear it running for my kids.
