I have a 95 GTX. Engine cylinders are full of oil. Cranked it all out. Put in new plugs, shot some starter fluid down the plug holes. Runs til it burns off the starter fluid, then dies. Can't keep it running. Where is all this oil coming from? Local mechanic tells me crank seals are bad, have to rebuild engine? I probably cranked out a 1/2 gallon of oil after it's been setting for about 3 weeks. Thanks!

Is it time for an overhaul?

Do you have the grey tempo fuel lines? Aluminum Selector Valve? If so, replace them.
Grease the water separator square O-ring. Replace the two small 3/32"id x 6" long RV oil lines. Clean the carbs micro filters.
Then it should run. You need to rebuild if it continues to smoke after riding
about 5-10 min. If it stops, you can pincher off the oil line during storage to
get another season, Hopefully!
