Guys -
A few of you made some suggestions in an earlier thread about a leaky plug in the case of my Rotax 657. Over the past couple weeks, I've tried both a 2-part epoxy and Yamabond #4 to seal around the inside seam of the plug. Neither worked to sufficiently seal her up.
I work in manufacturing, so I don't think I'll to ask around too long to find someone who can TIG it for me. But I have one nagging question.....
Should I tear this whole thing down again to do this, including the RV? I've already got the cases sealed and stuff, obviously. As you can probably guess, I'd rather not. Do you think that could be welded quickly enough to not worry about the heat transfer?
What are your guys' thoughts?
Thx!
