94 seadoo gtx won’t move on water but revs up.

Just purchased a 94 Sea-Doo GTX it revs up on water but will not move. need help!!

How can you tell if wear ring is bad?

Pieces will be missing and there will be a noticeable gap between it and the impeller. They say the thickness of a dime is too much.

Another question, how can you tell if you splines on drive shaft are wore out.... I also hear a rattling noise from the impeller drive shaft area so I’m curious if the impeller is shot or the driveshaft?

I didn’t see any noticeable gap or pieces missing in wear ring. Almost wondering if the problem is the driveshaft or splines in impeller

How do you remove the driveshaft? I cannot figure it out

Remove the clamps from the boot on the PTO then it just pulls out the back.

Idk what was holding but it didn’t come out easy lol

Hey so when everything is bolted on and seems to be ready for water.. I crawl under neath of ski and where you can see the drive shaft, I can slide in back and forth what would cause this???? Need help on this one.
