To think I almost didn’t get the skis out of winterization this year. Was a rough spring and I almost just gave up. But anyway my wife suggested about a month ago that we just take a day and go to a small local lake. Well we’ve been back every Sunday since and had a blast. Other than a blown exhaust gasket but eh whatever. Here’s a pic of my boys and their girls on the twins after an afternoon of tubing and playing. These things never stop to amaze me. 25 yrs old and still gettin it.

My favorite machine to borrow, when I worked as a DOO mechanic, was the 94 gtx. Smooth all around on the throttle, enough power to pull tubes, good on gas, stable and reliable. 25 years later I have one of them I set up and maintained for a customer.

Nothing wrong with riding older iron.

Those machines look very sharp!
What area of the world are you in my Friend?

West central IN right on the IL border. Pics were taken at Lake Waveland near Turkey Run and Shades State Parks.

Getting in on the last days of summer up here in Alaska. Having a high of 70 this weekend then things are on the slide to winter.

Those sure do look nice

Thanks I’m proud of em. They were both saved from the dead. I posted the story on them in the RESTO section. It’s interesting. They were bought 4 years apart and I rebuilt them 100% front to back. The second one we literally dug out from under a tree. It was covered in leaves. But they shine up nice and plenty of parts available to make like new other than graphics. I even found a period correct Shorlandr trailer for them and rebadged it as a Sea Doo with custom vinyl.
