94 gtx ignition problem

Let me see if I can explain this well enough for someone to help me. On my 94 gtx with 657 I just rebuilt the top end of the motor It had a stuck ring after the rebuild it ran great about twenty minutes then it started to miss at wot then about tewn minutes later blew the 5 amp fuse I replaced it ran about twenty minutes blew again I got the one out of my 95 to try and get it back to the bank and it fried something my guess is the mpem, But my ? is what was causing the original problem of the skip at wot and blowing the 5 amp fuse I don't want to put another module in and blow it what do i need to check. Thanks

Stator coils may be shorting. JMG Bill

I have a manual on the computer but i have not found what resistance should be and thought if someone else already knew how they could explain it faster than i could figure it out scanning the manual.
