Went and looked at a 1993 XP and a 1995 GTX tonite (i may have the years backwards) and need to do some HW on them before i make an offer tomorrow. He is selling the pair on a trailer for 2500. They hadnt been started in a year and half. We put jumper cables on them and hit them with a little starter fluid and they both fired up. Im new to PWC so i had some questions. First, he said he hasn't had any issues with the oil injection, but that it was common for them to have issues and that u could block it off and pre-mix oil and gas yourself. Is there a kit for this? if so how much do they cost and is it a simple task? Ive been wrenching on cars my whole life and have had a few boats but this is my first trek into PWC so and additional advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Those are very old models. I wouldn't pay $1500 for the pair if they did run.

But the oil injection is super reliable and should be kept.

Also you better plan on at least $400 per ski for everything that WILL HAVE TO BE SERVICED to make them reliable at a minimum.

its been about 5 years since i lived in cali, so I'm not sure how the prices fluctuate by state, but out here, there isn't a single PWC for under 1700. there are probably 30 PWC's on my CL and and single 90's ski with a trailer are 1700 and up, so 2500 for 2 with a double trailer seems cheap by our standards
