93 GTX Cylinder Removal - PTO Question

Last week while crusing down the River my Doo stopped.

The PTO would not turn.

I've been informed via the Forum to pull the head. That was easy. Found a lot of white colored crud, but no rust.

I presume my next task isto pull the cylindes and that will get me access to check out the reason for the PTO freeze.

Am I correct? Do I pull the cylinder?

Then what????
