92 seadoo xp cranks when i plug in lanyard

Hello all, im new to seadooforums, but have found a ton of valuable info on this site. Any advice on this problem is appreciated. I just aquired a 92 seadoo xp and when i plug in the lanyard it cranks on its own without pressing the start button, it also has no spark. Ive checked the schematic and looks as though the wiring is correct. Thanks again.

Bad push button, bad starter solenoid. Some basic testing could probably solve that. Test the stitch. If its good, probably solenoid.
