Hello everyone,
I am a very new PWC owner as I just purchased a 1992 seadoo gtx earlier this summer. When I first purchased the seadoo it ran great but had a small amount of water leaking threw the shaft that leads back from the mother to the terbine. About the 3rd time I put it in the water it would not fire in water but would outside of water, I took it to a marina and they diagnosed a new starter and put it in. The ski ran great for the weekend. I then put it in about 2 weeks later and it fired up no problem but was bogging down and wouldn't accelerate above 4000rpm, it would almost make a clique and the rpm would try and go up, but would drop again. I took the ski home and tested out the psi in the ciliders and they arnt exactly 130psi (125 in the back, 119 in the front.) I replaced the plugged and tried to take it out and it would crank continuously but not fire. Some times it sounds like the starter is having troubles turning but, other times it sounds fine just no fire. Please let me know what you guys think. Anything would help.
