92 GTS won't stay running

I have 92 GTS that normally runs great. It starts very quickly but as soon as I let off the starter button it kills engine. If I keep the starter button pushed down it runs fine until I let go. Any trouble shooting suggestions? thanks in advance.

Hello there, were you ever able to figure out your problem? I'm currently out with both of my skis, one is a '92 GTS and has pretty much the same problem and I'd like to fix it myself before I hit up the local mechanic. I was told by a few ppl that it may be the fuel pump as I changed the plugs and they do not seem to be getting wet with anything when I turn over the engine.
