I have a 99 speedster SK. one engine is seized so i took it out and dismantled it, crank case was full of oil on one side other was dry but connecting rod was seized to crank on dry side. I know there is not supposed to be oil in crankcase, question is how to rod journals get oiled. i think it is cheaper to replace engine rather than rebuild it.

Lubricated by the oil injection and fuel. Typically it is either the little 3/32" oil lines the the intake manifold that break or a dirty carb. THe oil needs the fuel to carry it to the engine parts.
