Hey guys, I'm glad to be a part of this site with such good knowledge here.

I just picked up a non running 95 SPX on the trailer for 300$. It has a 717 swapped into it but I have some questions about the pee lines, to start with. I have two pee lines coming from the stern, which are clipped to the port side under the seat and are just hanging. I am inclined to think the jumper hose on the exhaust is not supposed to be there and the pee lines are what should be there. Am I correct? Thanks in advance for the help!

The small red hose that goes from the top of the pipe to the "stinger" fitting is correct. However the larger 1/2" hoses on the rear of the head appear to be swapped. The flush fitting is normally on the out going water line(back right).

The 657X that was in the SPX had different water routing. On the 717's the pisser(or tell tale) is fed from a "T" fitting on the cylinder drain line that runs from the bottom of the exhaust manifold to the exhaust outlet.

Matt, thanks for the insight. Next time I mess with it I will flip the water lines on the head as you mentioned.

I'll look at the bottom of the manifold for a place to put the pee lines. Are both needed or is one fine...tee them together, or??

None are actually needed it's just there for you to see that the water cooling system is pressurized. You can run both or one.
