Hello all,

I have a 4tec 1503 rotax on my seadoo challenger boat (custom project). I bought online a nice water temperature sensor and i want to install it but I am not sure where is the best to place it. I saw a video on youtube with the water circuit in seadoo but I am no specialist and this is why i ask for your opinion. I guess the best sport to place it (where the original sensor is located) is on the thick hose that comes out of the engine (1 in the picture). Still i dont have a large enough fitting for that hose. I bought a T fitting from HomeDepot, threaded the small end and it fits perfectly my sensor. I saw there are 2 hoses that go to the oil radiator (i guess that is) and i was thinking about placing the sensor on the top one. Is that a good place to connect it ? I have attached images of the sensor and the hose number 2 or 3 (where i think to install it). Is that ok? Any other suggestion?

Sometimes when the boat is to full (weight) i get a sound on the dashboard and it reads "temperature warning" and I dont know is that means engine temperature (water) or the exhaust temperature .... i recude the throttle and the warning goes away in a few seconds. This is why I want to install this sensor.

Thank you for your advice

Vlad
